do you see the loading bar fill up b4 you get the download succesfull message?
have you looked in system info to see if the sw has loaded ?
have you done a factory reset b4 installing the sw ?
the more info you give . about the problem would help

if you have put the firmware on and your getting funny writing under channels clear all data and do a factory reset then do a power scan not on full on symbol rate 6.952 thats if your symbol rate is 6.952. i did one of these boxes yesterday at first all funny writing came up but one cleared all channels factory reset and a power scan everything workd.

and also youve not actually stated what your problem is you say it says downloaded what shows up on screen. even if you go to system information it should still show you your old firmware thats if youve only if you flashed your box with the au firmware

your firmware has downloaded if it gets to finished you just gotta do a factory reset. and do a powerscan from the beginning or auto scan

no because you need to input your lock code should be 0000 if you not changed it but you need the remote,

winka, the firmware version stays the same i am assuming you are only doing the autoupdate firmware arent you mate then firmware will still show the old one dont worry about that, do a factory restore once you get the remote it doesnt matter if you have already put the au firmware on just do a factory restore, also what probnlems are youv actually having whats showing on the box on the screen

I have read somewhere (I think it was scouser) that if you flash the EV2 and the remote doesn't work you will need a max remote
