it sticks on ;standby;. took it to my friendly tv repair man in bristol but hes goosed without a wiring diagram

ps honcho, the tv man changed a capacitor but cant find the underlying problem without a wiring diagram

I'd start by re-flashing,then if no success a jtag may be required:

hes not downloaded anything onto it, just switched it on but cant get past standby, though now it gets to the next stage [ flashing lights] after a new capacitor fitted

Just go to any computer fair. There is always someone selling them at these places

If they sell them theres a good chance they will be able to repair them

I got a Eurovox Max for a mate at a computer fair. It was sold by some guy from a company in Oldham. The name doesn't come to mind but his after service has been fantastic from what my mate has been telling me
