Default Eurovox Max V Help For Newbie

Hi all from a newbie! I have recently purchased a Eurovox Max V from eBay and I just wanted to know a few things about it if you can help me. Firstly I do not actually have Virgin Media TV at the minute but I have Virgin Media 10mb broadband, I read somewhere that if I plug my internet lead in to the Eurovox box that It will be able to pick up the channels, Is this true? Another question I have is that when I recieve my box that should hopefully be here tomorrow will I have to Flash it before I can pick any channels up or could it be already flashed with the latest firmware? Thanks in advanced for any replys and please be patient with me. Nicko.

Yes you can get the TV from the broadband line, just put a splitter in and all will be OK
Its hard to say if it will be already flashed you will just have to wait and see

Hi yes you can plug it in to your broadband you must do this when you first set it up as it best to have a direct feed. then use a splitter one to your broadband the other to your box. it will have 3 connection main feed going in to one this is the one coming in to your house the one you plug in to your b/band then 2 coming off that one to your box the other to your broadband. if you do have to flash it just do a search on here it's been covered many time's . you can get a splitter off fleabay or on here just search licast hope ive spelt it right still stuck repost.
