Default Help!

I have a Sagem D Box that has taken to sticking on one channel. When I switch off, then power up again I can change channels increase sound basically have full use of the remote, but when I sit on any channel for more than a few minutes the box will not respond to the remote at all.
So it's back to power off then on, to make the channel change etc.
Any ideas anyone, I aint very technical hence my plea for advice.

The first step would be to try reflash the box as the image might have become corrupted,if that doesnt sort it then it could be a hardware fault m8.
