I am new to this forum and newbie for dm500s. I just purchased made in china dm500s and set it on factory set on Ist day now it is not working condition. I am using dsl at home. I flash the receiver through gemini image. Now problem is that there is not connection with internet i tried hard. How to make ftp directory. which files are required for this. i requst all the valueable members of the forum to guide me as I am like a kid for this set who is learing a b c

Be carefull using gemeni images on your 500, as its probably a clone and the gemini image had a bug in it, causing big problems for the clones!

Thanks for the guidance I flash with gemini then i flash with nabilosat. My set is original no problem

As far as i am aware the originals are not made in China, although China is where all the clones come from

In future can you please put your questions in the main forum and either myself or another board member will answer it. I do not answer PMs asking me questions that should be in the open forum. You could also try searching the board for answers.

Gemin 4.6 is non bomb immage u can flash with this immage no problem
keep trying and learn from the forum you can find on this forum many tricks
it need some time be patient
