Default Kind of box help ( again) please.

A friend has asked to to look at his SV box for him, but I am a bit confused as to what type of box it is. From reading other post`s I must assume it is not a Starview The Box. So am I correct in thinking it is a Startview 1 or 2.

I have a bit of experience with Dbox and Eurovox Max but, this is a bit new but different if you get my drift.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Right I think from your post it`s a Starview 1st box original , would that be correct.

Will that require a .bin file and a loader to transfer the .bin file to the SV?

Sorry for being an arse.

Yes you will need a .bin file and a loader to transfer the .bin file to the s/v. (GTRom v 4.00 Loader and the latest bin file is Cryptstar v 1.4)
providing your box is not a clone ?
you would more than likely get these from the TCB.cc or Deja vu toolbars

Brilliant , thanx very much m8. I will do a bit more reading up on it before trying to flash it.

I think my m8 was having to constantly update the key`s . I rescanned it tonight , turned on EMU and I now have the box working with all channel`s but if I am not mistaken the key`s will roll again and would need manually added.
I will leave the box till tomorrow and see how it go`s.

Thanx again Jaysbee
