Can a gbox be shared? have cccam that reads the gobx cards....but gbox cannot do the same or is there a way of cofiguring it?

Yes it can - its the reason why gblox was developed. HOWEVER, it was never meant for public release - the release notes that go with it specifically request its use isnt discussed on forums or other public message boards. Many of the old hands in the hobby observe a voluntary code of silence on the matter which is why its difficult to find info about it..

To be honest the newer cccam is far better so if that does what you want then stick with it

sorry were we talking about gbox...or gblox? I mistyped it...we do have the latest version of ccam 2.0.9 it reads gbox but gbox does not read cccam.

Sorry kp "gblox" is what I habitually call it - a bad habit when it confuses people.

What do you mean ccam reads gbox but not the other way around?? Gbox and cccam are just cam emulators nothing more. It wouldnt surprise me at all if ccam can do more - gbox is clunky and outdated now.

As far as i am aware a CCcam server will only share with a CCcam client

A Cccam client will accept shares from gbox, camd3, etc etc but ass a server it will not give shares to any other emu

As a server it is still a good piece of software. As a client it is getting a bit outdated.

I have been playing with gbox as a server using Mgcamd as a client. The results have been as good as CCcam on my home network.

CCcam is a fantastic piece of software but it just creates far too much network traffic for my liking
