Default best basic box for the noob?

i live in the galway area of ireland. i am looking for a box that has the following:
1- tv guide/listings
2- a usb slot so i can add a hard drive later,
3- two tuners so i can watch more then one channel at a time if possible
4- costs less then 150 euro/110 pound.
5- easy to "fix" or "patch".

so far the Technomate TM5400CI+ USB or the technomate TM-5600 CI USB (although i cant see the difference between them) seem to be the closest i can find but without the dual tuner. keep in mind it has to work with n;tl (cable), anyone any suggestions of what box to get or where to get them.

im also looking for the same type of thing to work on sk;y (dish), is that possible. both would be handy

sorry for asking stupid noob questions but i dont know were else to go.

I don't think you will get what you want for such a low price.

Besides that, the Technomates don't work with cable. Please ask in the cable section, for your options.

The cheapest way to get a twin tuner PVR is to buy two receivers. A couple of TM5200 should do you OK for 28E. Patches are no use to you whatever for Sky though. Although on some of the Technomate models the patch will enable you to use an official Sky subscription card. ( The TM 3000 series for example)

Or subscribe to Sky+.
