eurovox max(black) stopped working

Hi there..I have been looking on the site and tried one or two things but my box has stopped working. It is only showing BBC1 etc.about a dozen channels in all .When this has happened in the past i have simply cleared all data and then re scanned and most of the channels would re appear. I have had the box possibly 2 or 3 years.
I am not technically minded so any help will be gratefully received.

Hi and welcome to the forum

How many transponders are you picking up Menu/user installation
is your box flashed with the latest firmware
what area of (I presume Scotland) are you from

Thanks for the reply...I am not sure what you mean by transponders !..It is showing 25 channels on user installation page.
I have just been reading about the updates that may be available but have never installed anything since i purchased the box.
The channels that are coming through are 1/2/3 /4/5 and itv2 c4+1 and 1 or 2 others.
I am from the dundee area (virgin)

It rather looks like your box needs flashing
Do you get the scrambled channels but can't view them
go to Menu/Config/system Information and tell us what it says (in particular S/W Ver)

...The box says 1.0 ssc4 20 october 2006.
When i go to the other channels its says wait whilst code updates and then nothing happens.

You may be vermin Media but you need to know who they took over from ie NTHell - TW - CW

You are going to need the chatterbox toolbar to get what is needed either to update box or K*ys

to input k*ys Menu/ press yellow button

do you have a null modem cable, if not you will have to update K*ys manually until you reflash box
