Default Hello World

I think this has to be the first forum I've joined where you're invited to start your forum identity with a post! Looks like old fashioned politeness may not be dead in the digital age...

Anyway, hi guys. I built my first HTPC a month ago (after building several PCs and converting a laptop to a digital photo frame!). Family take up has been slow - the kids would rather watch Cartoon Network on cable than any of the DVDs/Blu-Rays or Freeview i built in and the wife knows how the cable works and doesn't want to learn a new OS! Now onto Plan B - incorporate cable into the HTPC. Unfortunately, although leeching has been very informative, I needed to join to access some of the downloads, etc.

Now planning on going back to lurking and learning until I know enough to start answering questions and helping people, asking the questions just isn't my style.

Thanks for reading, and see you around.

Stu
