Setting up my eurovox 2007

Hi could anyone help me set up my eurovox 2007 its grey i live in glasgow and i am virgin/ntl i got the box this morning no instructions on how to set it up i already have a eurovox 2008 had it ages no problems with it i bought the 2007 for my sons room which has cable in it everytime i put it on a powerscan it goes threw the scan but no channels pick up have been at this 5hrs its driving me mad i have taken the 2007 box into my livingroom and tried picking up the chanels where i get them all on my 2008 box but its still picking up nothing please help vickie

First of all try your box on his cable to make sure you are getting a good signal in that room.
If you were previously nthell are you scanning with a symbolrate of 6887

Yes im on 6887 i plugged my box in in his room and is working great see when i am putting the information in should it on full scan and what should the feeq be set between and do i also just put the 6887 in once and leave the other 2 at zeros thanks

sorry should i leave the other 3 symbol rate at o.oo mbaud and then it says step and its set at 8 is this ok vickie

In my area
mode = normal
start 300.000mhz (you could start 100.00 only takes longer)
stop = 870.000mhz
symbolrate = 6887
symbolrate = leave blank
step = 8

when i do this it runs threw all the channels 1 to 570 when it reaches the end it jumps onto another screen with a progress bar at the bottom but still no channels or do i leave it to see if they pick up this box is heading for the window lol

go into Menu/User Installation and see if you have a list of transponders

go to Menu/Config/system Information and see what it says in S/W Ver

try this
Menu / Config / Clear data (PIN 1004) you get the choice to erase all channels or factory default

Choose Factory Default and (Set your symbolrate in the symbolrate option)

You will now get a screen showing Full Powerscan with symbolrate below it (also a red button for advanced install)

Pressing OK on this screen will do a full a FULL POWERSCAN

Do you have a null modem cable and have you used it before as there is a Glasgow CDF file inthe CDf thread
