Alt+0186

Hold the alt key down - then key 0186. It wont appear until you release the alt key

AS, Tried holding Alt and then keying 0186 following your instructions and .........nothing.

Does this still apply to a laptop as well ?

Hey Paul,

On a laptop you need to use the NmLk feature and use the alternative number pad (so usually M=0, J=1 etc)..I think on MS products the code for the degree symbol is Alt + 0176,

Cheers

Al

Ps or Alt+0186 as AS has pointed out

Paul needs to know how to add the degree symbol, AS has detailed how to do it on a pc, however a laptop is different as most dont have dedicated number pads, in this case you use the NmLk feature (Number Lock) and use the alternative numberboard, majority of laptops have this as standard.
