sagem tuner change

quick question here, i've got a sticky sagem dbox, i've tried every image going and recon its a hardware problem, after looking at the tuner i have relised it needs to be soldered in, is a tuner change the only way to fix this or is there a chip that can be chaged, i think it may be just nokia chips that can be changed?the tuner's 35 quid from germany and i'm not sure if it has a warranty, it says 100percent tested.

i went down same route with a nokia box and tried changing the chip and resistor in tuner still no good though ..
had to replace the tuner in the end all good then!
