Unhappy flashing eurovox max v problem

i have the correct cables etc but cant update the image can anyone help i run the setup but there doesnt seem to be any communication between box and pc

With you saying cables I take it you must have a null modem cable and usb adaptor.
If so you may need to load drivers for adaptor
connect your box up and then go into device manager and you should be able to see it connected to one of the ports, this port needs to be set to the port that the Unified Flash Loader is set to

i only have null modem cable going for the two isnt that all i need cant see device attached in device manager

i can go through all menu's on the boxx nps when i scan for channels doesnt find any transponders all i get is channel unavailable

okay i summised wrongly (yes you only need the one cable if you have the correct port on your PC) providing it is a null modem cable which is wired differently to a rs232 cable

connect your box to the PC with the cable and plug in your power supply to your box
go into device manager and expand the Ports (COM & LPT)
you should see Communications Port (COM1) (or may be a different number)
right click on it and select properties
select Port Settings and click on the advanced button
Make sure the Com Port Number is set to either 1,2,or 3
then try downloading the firmware

sorry mate ive sussed out what the prob was bought wrong cable identical looking thing but not null modem getting another in couple of days should be end of my hassles thanks for your help
