Hi all i bought a box yest and have followed all instructions left on previous threads ( tutorials ) and once i have put the gtrom on the box and search for channels it keeps finding nothing, i have an active cable feed in my flat and i am lost for what to do next. Can anyone help me please.

Same here, select English, then ex-C&W (correct for me), autoscan. It searches the 31 transponders, about half fail, half are OK, at the end it says "no programs found". I understand about enabling the EMU via 1570 etc but without channels there is not much to go on really. My cable feed is 100% OK - all ideas welcome.

i have tried everything and i am really annoyed now as i have sat for 2 days now trying to work it out. Any help would be much appreciated

When you scan make sure you choose the right provider. Go to menu and press 1570 and turn key emu on then exit to sly sports and let it update itself.

I have done this **L and when it searches it finds nothing at all. I have done all of the above.

What firmware have you used and I presume you have the coax in the cable in socket?

hiya i got the starview 3 the box super.got it installed but cannot turn on the emu .1570 does not do anything .any ideas as this box is brand new.because of this all decent channels are scrambled.

right provider assuming virgin is telewest .done the scan on that got hundreds of channels but cannot turn emu on.

Check what software you have on your box itsounds like you need to update to enable the 1570 menu as you might have the FTA version
