Eurovox Remote Control Surgery

Hiya

My Eurovox Max 2006 remote controller works perfectly apart from the OK button which really needs pressing hard for a couple of seconds in order for it to function. Are the remotes easy to take apart (and if so how would I fix this problem) or would it be less painful for me to buy a new remote. I've had a look on ebay and I cant find any of the 2006 remotes at the moment

the remote comes apart in 2 halves, which just clip together. use a blunt knife to prize the casing apart....theres nothing to them except 1 board ans a rubber keypad inside so maybe a quick look and perhaps a clean mite solve your problem. its defo worth a try before purchasing another

tenner on ebay m8. found 13 typed in eurovox remote,

the ones on ebay are the black max v ones, will they still work with the 2006 model (came with the silver remote)

this remote is for eurovox max series it won't work on ev2 as the ev2 one is completely different if you can't find it then you might have to jtag the ev2 and convert it to eurovox blue and then you can use the remote(14025702986)

thanx for replies i emailed sellers, couldn't help, will try jtag. can i change it to red or only blue?
