You just need the latest patch for the 1500.

There are many tutorials on how to do it if your not sure.

It's very difficult to help if your not good at following written instructions as that is all we can provide.

You have 2 options with your set up:
1 Patching your receiver

Your Technomate 1500 CI is patchable, which means that there is unofficial software available to open channels.
The latest patch for your receiver is from the 25/07/08, by Magic, and you can find it at alsat.
This patch is AU, Auto Updating so you do not need to update the keys,
It is listed as opening the following packages, Premiere 19E, TPS and Polsat 13E and Digi TV 1W.

2 Updating your Diablo Cam

If your duolabs programmer is a Cas programer then you can update your Diablo Cam to receive some channels.
Do you have the Diablo 2.2 or 2.3 version? If you look on the back of the cam it will tell you.
Also what make/model of programmer do you have?

I'm surprised you couldn't get hold of a null modem cable, you can pick them up very cheaply from any sat shop on the internet, check the sponsors.
If your computer hasn't gor a dedicated serial port you will also need a USB-Serial adapter.
With your Diablo 2.2 you can open the following main packages:
Premiere 19E
Polsat 13E
Digi TV 1W
If you upgrade your Cam, over the internet, to 2.3 you can also open DigitAlb 16E and Canal Digital 1W.
Check lyngsat for the full channels available on each package.
How to programme your Diablo:
Download Underworld 127.
Chack the sticky threads in the Satellites Help & Support section for where to download.
Download and install CIS 8.5 for your Cas 3 programmer from duolabs.
Insert your Diablo Cam into your Cas 3.
Start up the CIS software.
Click on the Cam Module tab and the two Diablo Cam icons, this starts the Diablo software.
Click on the little icon with 3 dots at the end of the File Name address bar.
Navigate to underworld127.dup and click open
The Start Update icon should now have a green light.
Click the Start Update icon and wait for it to complete
Once finished return your cam to your receiver.
Go into the Cams menu, Underworld 127 and the cConfiguration option.
Ensure Emulators is ON and N2 AU is ON.
Please post back if you have any problems.

They are not three channels but packages of channels:
Premiere 19E
_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/premiere.html
Polsat 13E
_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/polsat.html
Digi TV 1W
_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/digi.html
Just remove the underscore, _, and paste the links into your browser.
You also need to turn Emulators ON if yiu haven't already done so and you might want to change Emulators priority to 1 Emu 2 Card
