I suggest you investigate possible overheating, and possible Power Supply imminent demise - they are the most likely with that sort of behaviour.

You are having a conflict with one of your drivers, this could be associated with any of your attached system hardware or software.
you could try looking in your event viewer/windows logs/system (all system errors are logged here with a brief explanation) |

It's usually the graphics card driver.
Try booting up in safe mode, by pressing the F8 key on boot up, and using it in safe mode. I have worked on computers before, with this type of problem, and I always start by asking if the user has downloaded any updated drivers off the Windows web site, as they cause more problems than they fix !!!! Always go to the manufacturers web site and download the latest drivers. |

I have this same problem. Periodically, me PC closes down without warning. I bought my PC 2nd hand from a reputable shop and the only problems I have with it - in addition to the aforementioned one - is that it occasionally runs very slowly for a while after starting up and every time I switch on I receive the following message:
Application Error Hardware Error: 1024 Please contact your hardware vendor Are these 3 problems connected? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
