If you managed to follow 'that badly written tutorial' and got the 'cas enabled' message - then your box is patched correctly - albeit using the old method. If you had followed the information Update 05/11/07 you would have patched your box using Truman emulation - which is more up to date.

If you have tried to follow makev's suggestion

then you will have problems - as this refers to Truman and clearly says so.

If you do not read in full or understand what you are trying to do then you will get into difficulties. I suggest that you try to update using Truman (the information is contained in the tutorial) and if that fails you will need to jtag your receiver. It is however very unlikely that you will have bricked your box by incorrect key entry!
