have got latest image onto my eurovox done couple of scans and havent found 1 single channel is it goosed or is a signal booster way to go box does have the 8% signal problem

The latest firmware is 18/04/2008 you only load the 8% fix if you were only getting an 8% signal with the 18/04/2008 firmware

yep was only getting that have removed splitter everything have tried the final image when scanning get quality 8% level 8% at end dont have 1 channel no transponders

Have you got the coax feed in the cable in socket on the back of the box?And are you scanning on the correct provider symbol rate?

aye mate got cable into the antenna scanning on 6952 same as me dbox

Coax goes in Cable In socket, you say you have it in Ant In?

**** alread the signal looks better ahhhh this site is great at showing how stupid you can be started scan and transponders are appearing

Hey guys,

I wanted to ask is it okay to use the 8% fix image anyway as in I didnt test if I had the 8% problem I just went straight to using that image, should I use the normal image and try it or is it okay to stick with this, it seems to scan fine etc.

Hi and welcome to Techwatch
normally if you don't have the 8% problem and you put the 8% fix on, you get too high a signal strength and your picture starts pixelating and chirping.

EDIT : I have just read a post that says don't use this if you haven't got the 8% problem Max V 8% 1/12/08 Update
