Default Re: How to patch Comag/Silvercrest SL65/12 or Tevion receiver.

To add MANUALLY A SAT in the tRUMAN software patches.

This can be done by "cheating" the receceiver.

I have added Thor1 Di*itv as follows:

1..I found a favorite group or sat already in the software that i am not interested,or cannot receive.Attention:this group or sat must exist in the menu - installation- installation-OK!!!
(eg Children,or sport or Hispasat (low elevation)

I go to menu -installation- select eg Hispasat i refered above and press the yellow key (edit TP).

2..In the Tp edit window opened ,, go to Tp index (eg 1/66) meaning ist Tp of 66.using right cursor go to 66/66.

3.using delete(yellow) , "save changes" -Ok, reduce the transponders to 1/1(by leaving one transponder you make sure the name of e.g Hispasat remains in the emu, otherwise the name of the sat dissapears and you loose the possibility to fill up the hispasat with transponders of eg.Thor 1 west.

4. using "add new transponder "add frequency , polarity and rate , of the relevant di*it Tv transponder and do transponder scan each time (tedious)
In this way you have under hispasat ,thor 1 west done Manualy with the remote control. As last action delete the 1st transponder of hispasat that you have left overin step 3 above.

I have used this with the 1.3.82 emu. where the keys indicated in the emu, were those you had to press..

1.3.82 had only one key for di*itv (only key 00?? and I had to add a new key 01??) .
1.3.82 lost now its ability, to open the O*F 1 &2 (O*F1 &2 transmits in cryptoworks and betacryp encryptions .the provider id =0D0504 however is nowhere to be found in the cas.(any HELP???!!)

The 1.0.36 emu by TBX (nachtfalke forum) still has reserve keys for O*F but keys to be pressed are different than those shown in the emu.

e.g timer on remote = delete &letter E
Audio -"- =edit&letter C
text =reset& letterF
M/p =new(key)& letterD
If autoupdate ,reinputs inaccurate keys after you edited the new ones when tuned to the channel you want to open, do the following trick.

Go to another sat. select any channel. do the key editing there and then return to the sat where the encrypted channel is. sometime switching off and on again, opens the encrypted channel if it is not open instantly.

I don't think the portal option works on Truman, but if you scan the transponders, the channels should be listed to select individually.

The remote button assignment is different when using Truman software. You may find details on satboard, or failing that - trial and error

I patched for the Silvercrest sl65/12 with 'SL65A.zip' .
After up load the first .bin, the receiver turned to dead, nothing on the display, and pc couldn't communicate with the receiver at all.
Don't know what to do..
Help!!!!!!!!

That patch is very old, although it will not cause a problem if your receiver has the correct chipset for it (Ali B1).

If you have killed it there is a full tutorial on how to jtag it. But these instructions are specifically for the 'B' chip.

How to Jtag a dead SL65 B1 6 pin
