Nice to see its still working

I honestly wish i hadn't got rid of it. It was a nice looking box which for most of the time worked quite well, although you had to do a lot of searching to find answers on how to get it to do things

I have been playing with the idea of getting a TM9100 super to go in the back bedroom to replace the Eagebox (Yes it was a bad idea to buy it) I can get one from Eurosat for about £130 which is not bad for such a capable and nice looking receiver

The other good thing with the TM is that your unlikely to get lumbered with a clone which is normally the problem with the Dreambox

Ok and before anyone says i am aware of the ITgate receiver

If the support was better for it the chances are it would be a very competitive receiver.

I have also been looking at the IPbox and Triple Dragon receivers. I like my Dreamboxes but my trouble is that i like to mess with new things which is why i have a cupboard full of various sat receivers at home

As far as i am aware the best place to go for TM9100 info is the Allsats forum and dare i say it Alsat

'UR 13', 'EDG Nemesis 4.2', where can I learn all about these and I'm sure many other "things" that people mention in their posts without asking hundreds of stupid questions? Are there any books out there?

As Nano has already mentioned, if you have a TM9100 the places to look for support and advice are "allsats" and "alsat". indeed allsats has a very good wikki with lots of basic advice to get you going and its a very good starting point.
The TM9100 is quite a capable machine (once you get it set up) but it will have you tearing your hair out at first. i am intending to get another one for upstairs eventualy and at the moment they are good value for money.

Hiya Nano
Yes you will be pleased to hear the old 9100 is still going strong
i must admit it got left alone on the shelf for a while, as it was all just to much at first, the effort versus reward at first seemed far to heavily weighed towards the effort side of the equation. But i think walking away from it for a while turned out to be a plus.
now i have gone back to it with a different frame of mind it seems to be a lot easier and things have actualy started to work.

I must admit i was soooooo tempted when i saw you were selling your DB600 pvr but we're going on holiday next month and i dont think the wife would be too happy if i spent the spending money before we even got there .......but if you still have it by the time i get back....
