anyone interested in hosting a slingbox for me in the UK attached to a sky box? i'm an expat in the US right now and am missing good old british TV!

willing to pay for the service or do a slingbox exchange where i hosting a slingbox over here for you.

UK Slingboxes have a Freeview tuner built in (a bit like basic cable in the US) - you may find someone here that's more likely to let you access that rather than their Sky Box.

I'm seriously thinking of getting a Slingbox, so if you haven't found anyone in a Month or so, drop me a line - especially if you are in the Atlanta Braves broadcast area

Did you manage to get a host? I am quite happy for you to access my SB so you can evaluate the quality. It is attached to a Technomate 1500ci+ motorised system so you could access 28.2E where there is oodles of British stuff.

colt... i will have a dedicated dvr dish network receiver for you with the top 150 package. if there is a channel you need in particular we can figure that out. i have fiber optic internet also so the upload speed will be pretty good.

can you host a dedicated sky dvr box with a good upload speed?

I have a slingbox in the UK, full Sky+

I would be willing to offer it- either for a US box or payment

This thread is ages old. As far as I'm concerned offering to pay for sky via a sling box is the same as looking for a commercial c/s server. And posting your email address on the forum is asking for a mailbox jammed full of spam.
