Please help!I have just re-flashed my nokia dbox 2 with the blade-quad image.The thing is is that i didn't save anything from my last image on the box (sportster 1.7).I live in Bolton and have set the area to Bolton but i dont have any channels at all not even bbc1.When i look in the keylist in tuxbox commander but it is empty.I know i should have saved some thing before but it has gone now,is there anything i can do to get the box working again?Can somebody please give me some simple instructions on how to get the channels on please?

not bein funny here m8 but you aint mentioned whether u have done a scan for channels or not because if you have just put a new image on then ur gonna need to

thanks for the reply.I havn't done a scan because i cant find an option anywhere in any of the menus/sub-menus that allows me to scan.The closest i have got is to set my location.

Push ok
Scroll to the nearest location to you
And push ok again
Box will reboot and be ready to scan



Dbox Service menu service scan
Check all is ok
Red to save and blue to scan .....Paul

Thanks,plasterer.I found the scan menu.When i go into the scan menu these are the settings:-
Scan for services = tv and radio
Bouquet = update
cable provider =cableuk sym6952
scan mode = complete
frequency = 666750(this in yellow and i can't change it)
modulation= qam-auto """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
symbol rate = 6952 """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
cable = vm """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
netid = 41060 (this is white and can be changed)
section scan (w/o messages) = on
I have tried to scan on various settings but it only takes about about 5 seconds and doesn't find any channels at all but says the scan is complete successfully.

I am in Bolton,it used to be c+w years ago then it changed to N*L then VM.In the location list it has options to set Bolton N*L/C+W and also it has Manchester N*L/exC+W.I tried both but the same,nothing.

Try changing both sym 6952 t0 6887 by pushing ok
Rescan and lets know .....Paul

Tried that,same result.Do i need to transfer some files from my pc?i have read in other posts that there are files that need putting onto the dbox??
