I have the cable feed from the omnibox into a 3 way splitter - 2 of which to to STB's with a max cable length of 2 metres, and 1 to the broadband upstairs which is about 12 metres long.

Could I split the broadband feed into 2 under the floor boards upstairs and route a cable into the bedroom (which would mean the broadband cable would be about 10 metres to the splitter, then 2 metres to the broadband and another cable about 6 meters to the bedroom TV), or would this degrade the signal substantially?

I have two ev boxes plus my original Samsung I get my broadband from. I don’t think it matter how long the cables are but the more you split the weaker the signal gets, use quality cable & splitters you will be fine.

Yeah I use the Tratec modem safe splitters and WF100 cable. There are new splitters arent there... something CF SAFE?

you can split your feed 5 times max depending on length of extension, and inc net
