Missing channels

Hi guys, i'm new to the forums so pardon me if i've posted in the wrong place.

i've recently bought myself a dbox2, and using various links or tips you have posted i've been able to flash and set up my box, so i have to thank those responsible.

however, i do have one problem, i can't get setanta sports 1. i have tried to add it manually, but to no avail. i used the details from another services list, obviously its not the way to do it.

can anyone help me out?

(i'm in belfast, on N*L using blade quad)

Blade Quad is real nice mate.............press blue then set you location. let the box reboot then scan...................might not work first time mate so keep trying.

tried that several times. i've scanned at least a dozen times, i've tried updating the keys, re-flashing the box, changing EMU's.... nothings worked.

i've also recently had an N*L engineer ramp up the signal to my apartment... i complained i had poor signal and high noise rates. that gave me a few extra channels, e4 and film4 for example, but i still have no setanta sports 1.

has anyone got anything else to try? or am i doomed to live without UFC and boxing?

The scanning module is 'broken' on most of the latest images, however paphosAL's latest Virgin+ V2.1 released today has this feature fixed and is ready to rock and roll.

An alternative is to reflash an older image eg The Don V4 ( which wont AU without the rom 7 fix being FTP'd to var/keys ) which has the best scanning engine I have come across then scan to pick up your missing channels then transfer to your preferred image via FTP.

awesome stuff. flashed with the latest paphosAL, saved the scan, and loaded it back into Blade_Quad again. (love the look of the V2.1 but it has no laptop interface )

now got all my channels, and a little more knowledge about how this stuff works. still a long way to go though.....

All you need to do to get the Y web up and running is rip it from Blade Quad using new tuxflash tool and FTP it to share/tuxbox/neutrino and chmod 755 a few files.
