This is the release Firmware, it is FTA only and will NOT decode any encrypted channels.

Will this do ex1100? I am looking to restore my box back to original condition. I.E Freeview PVR box.

If not where can I get hold of EX1100 FTA Firmware only.

I have restored my box to orgnial settings plugged in my freeview arial connection fully scanned with no channels found? Arial works for other Freeview receivers.

Maybe its the settings can seem to find EX 1100 freeview settings anywhere looked all day please help.

Is the receiver designed for use with an aerial? The specs I can find say it only for cable - if it isnt designed for use with an aerial it will never work

EX1100 is designed for freeview arieal it is moded for cable.

I think the mod for cable is that it has a cable tuner which will only work with a cable input

Theres your problem then - the cable tuner wont work on terrestrial. You will need to unmod it!

Thanks guys it is cable box sold to receive FTA programmes. So I won't be able to use this as a freeview box to terrestrail only freeview through cable line. Wonder if Negra 3 effects freeview channels? Going to reinstall firmware.
