You want the latest loader for the Technomate 1000 series and the latest patch by Magic
It looks like you have found them, but as you haven't got your receiver yet I'd wait until it arrives as there might be a new patch available by then.

Sorry your first post said it wouldn't be installed for a week or two.
Is your dish up? Are you able to pick up any satellites at the moment?
Do you have a null modem cable and cam port on your computer/laptop, or have you got a USB-Serial adapter?

no sat not up ,, i have a serial adaptor, would like to patch it before its installed, would that be ok ....

Yes but you wont be able to check that it is working, check out the Technomate section where you should find full instructions.
