Can't record program with latest TM firmware on TM5400 CI+USB

Hi all
I recently bought a TM5400 CI+USB.
Following the poor user guide, I downloaded the latest firmware from TM's web site and since I did that, I can not record the prorams any more on my USB device.
I checked several USB keys and disques on both the TM and pcs and there are only problems with the TM.

I get the message 'error occured' and that's it.

I sent a 1st email tho TM's support from whom I got a quick reply about saving channels list, which had nothing to do with my problem.

So I sent a reply, and a new mail a coiuple of days later but got nothing back.

Any idea how to get this function back or might cause this problem ?

Any way to get the previous firmware back ?

Just to be complete, I haven't installed (yet ?) any patch or anything not official ...

i have the same problem.

I can only record FTA channels.

I have receive an answer from Technomate:
"I'm afraid that you can only record FTA channels."

Have you try to record before the load of the last firmware ?
If yes, it was OK ? On a crypted channel ?

I believe I recorded OK before the upload but I can not remember since I did a quick test once that worked fine.

Since I mainly watch C+ program thru my TM, I believe it worked but not 100% garantee.

I wanted to downgrade it to the previous release but can't find it !!
