Hi

On a eurovox PVR, on the ETVS10-18 channels only 2 have sound, one has sound but from another channel or badly out of sync.

From another post I learnt to change one setting to PAL-1. Which worked in that I got sound for 2 channels - originally all had no sound. The rest still no sound.

From the same post (sorry forgot poster's name) it suggested changing the UHF channel number I tried the 30 odd UHF numbers - still no joy.

Do I have to power off/on after each UHF channel change? I was just saving and exiting.

Just a shame as I'm missing the olympics.

press the red button on your remote and change audio.usually about 3 other audio channels available.

The red button on my remote does nothing when I'm watching the channel.

Will try flashing - gotta say a bit apprehensive..

From what I've read from different posts:

I intend to conect via serial cable.
Run unified loader which doesn't need an actual frimware file as its included.
Press upload (in CDF section) to save my channel cdf to PC.
Press big download button to download firmware..
Download saved cdf file to eurovox pvr.

Will wait till I have a bit of spare time..

Flashed it and now have sound.

Didn't need to apply my backup cdf file. Channels were as I left them.
