Help with eurovox max v scrambled channels access

Hi and thanks in advance for your help.
I have just purchased the max v 2008 and have uploaded the new firmware suggested on this site. I live in surrey and am using freq 6952. I can pick up loads of channels but can not see the scrambled channels. It alsways says code being updated.
I can see all the free channels. I have also tried to leave it updating on several channels with no success..
I have read through this forum for the last couple days and have tried many things like 1968 enabling both emu and emm and also adding extra info in the nagravision in the no name rows. I have also tried the different tp 6, 7 and 8 with 6 giving the most channels.
Im pretty sure the cable use to be with tele w.
I did previously before purchasing try with my mates box and it worked with out a hitch so it must be a something on my box that i have seems to have missed.

go into Menu/config/system information and what s/w ver does it say

normally putting it on sly sports 1 updates quickest

check which yours is by stickin your postcode here

as youve altered things in the nagra vision table it might be wise to do a factory default!

Hi this is what i get from the website suggested
You are not in an ntl area. (Offnet)
I have just done a factory reset and am doing a full scan for channels again.

Mine is a black box which one shall i use red or blue box?

the box wont update the encypted channels because its the old firmware, you will nee to flash the firmware in the previuos post for it to autoupdate
only other option is to manually input the keys Ronsters Quick fix for updating keys
