I'm trying to patch my Technomate 5400 to get more football as digitalb having trouble with 15:00 kock-off, but here's my problem i think i've found some patches on alsat and technomate site i've saved them on a memory stick but when i put it in my reciever it can't read or show anything even though the download is saved on the usb stick.
i've tried a few patches including the latest patch for the 5400 off the technomate site. Last edited by Mickha; 16-08-08 at 08:29 PM. Reason: removed live link to download |

I think you might have to patch it initially using a null modem cable and the loader for the Technomate 1000 series.
Have you looked in the Technomate section to see if there are any posts regarding your receiver? http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/technomate.html This section is probably the best place to ask technical questions regarding your Technomate receiver. |

Most files are compressed using winzip or winrar, and need to be uncompressed before you can use them.
Download winzip and winrar for your computer, uncompress the files and then load them onto your memory stick. |

Im not sure but i think you have to carry out the first patch via the serial port using a null modem cable. then you can do all subsequent ones via the USB stick.
