Default Advice needed on 5400 ci

I think i've managed to patch my reciever.
On the installation i have the options for premiere au, digitv au, Dplus au, Tvcabo au, Polsat au and globalcast. All of them are selected as on but when i try and find the channels i can't or if i do it still says scramble.
I've tried typing the channels in at kingof sat to make sure i have the right trans + sat but it always says channel not found.
Any advice.

Leave the AU set to ON

Either you haven't got the latest patch OR you haven't got correct Transponder in. Try downloading a channel list and check latest patch

After patching, did you load the latest 'softcam'? It should be specifically by a chap called Kempa 82 and can be obtained from the same 'place' you got the patch. Read the section on the Technomates, especially the stickies, in that other 'dark place' and it should soon bring you up to speed.

You can forget D+ and Cabo - they are now Nagra 3 and secure.

Theres not many channel lists knocking around for the 1000 and 5000 series. Just do a scan but not the blind scan.

As above D+ and cabo and not available even thought the patch says au. I would also kick the patch in by loading the softcam. I updated an old 1000 series the other day and it would not clear anything. I load the dailysoft cam and it cleared all.

The daily softcam can be found at als+t. Digi tv is a complete package that can be found on 1w thor. I has a good selection of gen ent. sport and movies.
