Default Channels - Is this possible?

Hi,

Although I have reorganized all my channels in the way I feel best... I have always wanted them to be numbered the same as V*r*in... 101 BBC, etc..

I was told that this could only be done using Channel Mapping (not available on Eurovox)... however....

If you created channels 1 to 999, could you not assign BBC One to 101 and skip all the channels from 1 to 100? This woul mean that the first channel in your system would be 101 .. then continue with this process until all channels are the same as V*r*in???

This feature is available in the channel reorder in menu system ... not sure about Voxer...

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Further to the previous post, I would like to give this a go as I belive this is a work around for those who might want to have their channels set up the same as V*rg*n...

Anyone know an easy way to add channels to a CDF file? I have tried with Voxer and whilst it is possible, you have to enter them one at a time...

Ideally, I would like to add about 800 in one go...

Anyone have a suggestion?

It can be done like this CDF Files for the Eurovox but you need to do them one at a time with voxer, its about 3 or 4 keystrokes per blank entry & you will soon have the routine off to a fine art, it should take 2 to 3 hrs to complete & its well worth it (I use Tivo to record).

Right.. so I have added all the blank channels (using a macro program and only took about 10 minutes).. now I have all my channels in order as V*R*IN.. i.e. 101 BBC One ... 102 BBC Two.. 103 ITV One.. 511 Sky Sports One etc... All looks good and working however..

I'm using VOXER 2.1.0.70 which I believe is the newest however when you push skip channel in voxer.. it doesn't save when you send it to the eurovox.. i have tried sending direct from the Voxer program and also saving and sending via UFL... any suggestion as skipping channels manually through the remote will take a long time..

Thanks!
