Default Reception in Dublin NThell last two weeks -Max V

Apologies if this has been covered, but couldn't find anything relevant in any of the thread headings.

I'm not sure if it is the bad weather over here, but the reception for the past two weeks has been cat. Almost unwatchable - pixalating, screeching noise, pausing and then blank. Actually a lot of the time it is completely unwatchable, then at other times it calms down.

I have the latest software and tried changing the frequencies slightly either way by small increments - no use. My channel quality is jumpy, between 82-86% i.e it isn't settled like it used to be at say 83%. I also turned the signal booster off, and still no joy.

Is everyone's box in Dublin the same or is there anything else I can try ?

thanks

It could be that your signal is bordering on the too strong borderline.
you say you turned the signal booster off but you have to disconnect and reconnect power supply to the box before it takes effect
