Default how do i "open" coship cdvbc5120 stb ?

hi guys

this is my first post here, hope its in the right place,

i am in spain were we use the coship box via a mmds mesh antena to receive a package of re broadcasted english tv channels, there is a choice of two main broadcasters here, one was shut down by the police, and the second offered to take on new customers for a fee of 200euros, plus 20 euros a month which i declined, however a local lad took my box away and fiddled with it moved the dish and retuned the box , and we were able to pick up an unscramble signal from the other company for 24 hours before the signal was scrambled,

so my question, what did he do to the box that bypassed the scrambling for that short time?? i want to do this myself untill i can install a big dish.

he gave me my money back but wont tell me how or what he did.

thanks

kev

Good Morning

I wonder if I could get your help,my friend lives in Spain and on a recent visit here was asking about what the set up was for receiving channels over there, could you tell me any of the problems you encounter over there and which is the best way to proceed to set him up with equipment.

Thanks
