Im a newb and all im looking to do is buy a half decent receiver (that will do me 5 years+), a satelite dish and watch the football .Iv been reading through the site when i get a spare 10 minutes but all i want to really know is the basics and what the cost of the cards/cams are that i have to buy to watch the english/spanish and itailan football.

To be guaranteed all the games would cost a fortune and even if you could afford it you would need to subscribe to S*y Italia, Digital + spain and for the English games, including Saturday 3 PM kick offs, Canal Digital, and a host of other packages, some of which you need to have an address in that country to get.
The only other way to do it is subscribe to S*y UK, get a linux receiver and C/S.
That is why no one has answered your posts on the subject because this is a hobby and we are not guaranteed viewing, we take what we get, at the moment viewing options are plentiful but most of us have been around when there were very few channels available.

Hi

Thanks alot for the reply, yea i was thinking it may cost a arm and a leg with all the cards/cams that i would need .How do i get into card sharing ? Is it illegal ? Would i get into a ring only offering sky ?

Card Sharing is illegal and difficult to set up because the vast majority of forums will not allow ANY discussion on the matter, others will allow general discussion but definitely NO advertising for card rings.
The way it works is say you have a full subscription, that others, from abroad wish to view, 4 or 5 people get together, each with a different subscription, and configure their linux receivers.
That's as much as I'm going to say on this subject.
