Will a Funcard 4 work in a Pace 1000? If it will, can somebody tell me how to do it please? I have the BK & IRD, I just need to know how to program the card.

use toxic fill camid, bk + ird leaves keys click on ur area not save this as exteep, use swapbinhex to convert to exteep.hex, now download flash according to ur area rename to flash.hex, u put the file on erase card fews times and then write the both files to the card, if u need more help check the thread below.

I find that the FunCards in Pace Boxes (deffo in 1000 1B and 2000) suffer
from 'channel freezing' after about 6 hours. A MOSC in the same boxes
does not exhibit this problem. By 'channel freezing' I mean keep working
but won't change channels / switch off etc but OK after a reboot.

yep true that happens with funs but if u power up the box again the freezing goes

Ok. I don't have any original cards. Can somebody give me a proper detailed tut on how to create a Funcard for use in a Pace Box

1 FIND THE RIGHT FLASH FOR YOUR AREA (ntl ,tw ,excw)
2 RENAME THIS MY FLASH.HEX
3 OPEN UP TOXIC 7AND ENTER YOUR IRD STRAIGHT IE 12 OR 3E FIRST
4 ENTER YOUR BK
5 CLICK THE RADIO BUTTON FOR YOUR AREA (ntl ,tw ,excw)
6 SAVE THIS TO THE DESKTOP AS MY EXTEEP
7 THIS GENERATES A .BIN FILE
8 NOW DRAG THE .BIN FILE OVER THE TOP OF SWAPBINHEX
9 THIS NOW GENERATES A .HEX FILE
10 DELETE THE OLD .BIN FILE SO YOU DON’T GET MIXED UP
11 OPEN UP YOUR PROGRAMMER AND WRITE THE FILES ONE AT A TIME IN THIS ORDER
12 MY EXTEEP
13 MY FLASH
14 PUT THE CARD IN YOUR BOX
15 PUT BOX ON BBC 1
16 GIVE IT UP TO 5 MINUTES TO UPDATE (Some boxes take slightly longer)
