Setanta 1 probs - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi, I have a euro max v, been working fine, but all of the sudden setanta 1 is unwatchable, picture breaking up, glitching all the time, I have fiddled with the frequency, ie up and down slightly, deleted channel and done a scan. still no joy, the quality levels are the same as all other channels around 80%.....

Any ideas anyone............please

Hi cally, I used to have this problem quite frequently but when I updated to the latest firmware it seems to have sort itself out.
What firmware is on your box?

the same here the channel doe even come up and trouble + don't as well it all the same frequency don't work

Sorry my original post was incorrect, my quality and signal are steady at about 84% ,but not getting any bother with any other channels that i use....

Btw, what other channels are on the same frequency (395.000)?

the same has happend to mine up in the north east i had tmf and the hits and loads of radio channels on my 395.000

I'm north east and on eurovox 395.000 all is OK
on starview2 the frequency is 394.250 and all is OK

I am Hartlepool mate, my starview in my bedroom is picking that channel up no probs on 394,250 frequency, tried that frequency on my ev downstairs but still breaking up etc.........

Any ideas why mate???

try your other starview downstairs and if it breaks up on that one it could be your splitter or cable connections
