Some info please if you can

I am new to this forum and I hope I am in the right place to ask for some help. if I am in the wrong thread please forgive me and direct me to the right place.

A friend of mine give me a tiny box called Violet phoenix progr**** USB., with no software. I have connected to my computer and nothing happened usually when you connect any new device to any PC it does ask for software or driver for the device and also no indicator light is on.

I really appreciate in info regarding this Violet Phoenix device, thank you so much for your assistance.

I had never heard of this programmer but on doing a google search there are a few places selling them and a couple of content users.
I haven't found any software for it but you could contact one of the sellers, like fuzing, and see if they can supply you with software or provide a link.
