Default longitude

First, sorry if i sound a bit thick but this is my first attempt at installing a motorised system
i have a TM 5400CI+ motorised with a 1 mtr dish,i have my long/lat settings but my longitude is -1.3611 and i dont know how to input a minus longitude in the setup on the reciever. Also i'm not sure how to set up the azimuth,my azimuth is 180degrees(true),183.2degrees(magnetic).

I have set the system up and inputted all the info on the motor/dish according to dishpointer, aimed the dish to thor but can not get any signal whatsoever.
Also when i move the lnb around(ie "skew") i lose power to the motor(green light goes out, motor won't move),is this normal ? or do i have a dodgy lnb ?
I have clear line of sight all round so that is not the problem.
Sorry again if i do sound thick but i would appreciate all the help i can get.
