Default New season.

Who do you want to do well, and why? Does'nt have to be premiere teams[ english, scots, welsh, northern ireland, and republic of ireland]

Well my team is man utd, always was, always will be. I write this post 4 miles away from the house where george best was born, and spent his youth. By the way George bests house(where he was born] is up for sale] as his father died earlier this year. It is a council house, in a council estate, a pleasant one, as it happens.£160,000 starting price, it will go for more[google it]

Everton will do great this season. Moyes is a gifted manager whose total annual spend is a pittance compared to the other top flight clubs but he works hard and gets the most from his players.

I know they lost their first game but it was only the first game of the season and they were playing six of their reserves.

As an aside - twas a big surprise to see a ManU player sold to Arsenal

I have great respect for moyes. He has done a terrific job on a low budget. Maybe he will be in with a shout to manage a real team when fergie retires

LOL

You should be so lucky - actually to be honest I don't think the big spend clubs would be enough of a challenge for him and besides, next to fergie, moyes is the second longest serving manager in the premiership

Ouch - how could I have overlooked Wenger

Fergie appointed 6/11/86
Wenger appointed 1/10/96
Moyes appointed 15/3/02

Man City through and through at the moment I would be happy with a 2-0 over Midgitland on Thursday night a win over the hammers on Sunday and still having a chairman at the end of the season. Not looking good for ****tywater though. I also like to see Macclesfield Town doing well and in typical Macc style they have lost 2 league games but beaten Blackpool in the carling cup even though they are 2 divisions below them.

Got to be The Great, The Glorious, The Fabulous Glasgow Rangers. The most succesful team in the history of football. An institution and an integral part of Scottish football. Good times and bad, we'll support them as our forefathers did.
Started pretty poorly but made amends today and future looking brighter
