Virgin V Box - SMT-2110C - HELP PLEASE

Hello all,

I am preparing to mod the above box (This will be my first attempt)
This is where i am at the minute:-

1.Got the box with card - not previously subscribed
2.Bought a INFINITE USB UNLIMITED CARD PROGRAMMER

I am now so confused as to the next steps, I would really appreciate any help on this matter

Ok here gose this is a full guide to the samsung 2110c digital cable box.

(1) Gliching

The only way these boxes can be done at present is if they have a paird card and you can glich it to get the box key, dont worry about the ird as sometimes you will get a false one affter gliching the card, if this happens you can go into diag screen find the nagra seirial code and convert it to hex to give you your ird.

(2) Talkback.

fist of all you need to remove the board from the housing as the talkback caps are on the underside of the board.
Look for the R414 & R413 caps and remove them this will stop your box from buzzing and freezing.
Then find the C427 & C428 caps and remove them too, this is the talkback caps once compleate replace the board in to the housing.



(3) Net ID & Pin

For you to set the net id and pin you will have to remove the 8 leg chip from the top side of the board located (as shown in pic below) and blank the chip with whichever proggramer you have if you dont have a proggramer to do this i advise you go to Maplins and buy a new chip to replace it, if you have proggramer with the capability to blank this chip you will find that you can't erase it but you can proggrame it. What you do is reset your info to be proggramed to all zero's or all f's this will allow the box to read it as blank. once you replace the chip and go into diag screen you will see that your pin is on 0000 so you need to set your desierd pin and your Net ID will be 09999. Now you need to use the Net ID proggram that iv supplyed in this tut to make the fun files you requier to set the Net ID, (You must use this version as the old versions dont work on this box) Once the files are made you need to wright them to a funcard then put your box onto the page that shows Net ID and insert your funcard, The box will auto reboot and start to update, "You need to have the cable feed connected for the box to update". You should also have your mosc card reproggramed with a good image befor doing this then as the box starts to update and the numbers on the display start to roll take the funcard out and put your mosc in this way it will roll the public keys on your mosc as it updates.



(4) Your Done

Your should now be working if its not then youve done somthing wrong go back and double check the instructions. if you dont understand this tut then you need to go back to the drawing board and learn the basics first.

Hiya,

I have the same scenario, i have the Samsung 2110c box with the card, however im having some trouble getting the BK.

I have the DYNAMITE Smartcard Programmer, when i run niagra and winexplorer it says card type not recognised.

I have never used the card and samsung box as i have an NTL Pace 1000 already running on funcard but now i want to do this samsung box. Any ideas how i can get the BK? and please explain in plain english if possible as i am new to this whole thing.

Are SMT-2110C for N*L or Tele***t area?

the box is for both areas u just have to lift the 24c1024 and write all ff's to it the put it back
