Default Is this any good??

Just enquired about a flashed modem and the guy sent me this back i don't know much about these so can anyone tell me a bit more about what I'm getting.

Cheers in advance

"MAC;s a legally tricky but I dont provide the full theory's of everything you need and full support. Having your subscription is'nt essensial but recommended. Under the current system these modems dont take updates so will be valid as long as that stays the case. I can unbrick or reprogram any modem in most states. Hope this helps. If you send an email addy ill forward some theories to ya."

Hes just trying to stay out of jail lol he will most probably tell you what to do under the terms and conditions of personal hypothetical chat ect like messenger and mirc but he cannot legally sell a modem that has a stolen mac installed on it or own up to doing so. Im not sure what your asking or what this guy is offering as he says he can help crack modems for most states is he in the same location as you as i personally would want someone with knowledge of the cable network where i live to sell me something not an over seas guy.

Have you considered getting a modem off ebay or something then using the tools here to do one your self because even if he provides you with a plug and play modem that works from the get go it will one day go down could happen the next week and then you will need to pay him to either make it work again or if you learn about the process yourself from here just start it up again. Not sure what he means that these modems dont take updates as well, just out of curiosity what modem is it?

Its not a bad deal exspecially if he can provide you with working macs for any area of choice, but its nothing you couldnt do yourself if you buy a modem off a carboot sale or ebay and using the files and tutorials in the FTA section here.

Mind you i have seen some modems going for this price alone un-flashed but you have got to just shop around.
