A little help eurovox pvr please

as this is my first post let me introduce myself.. Been in the sat scene for a good number of years and now trying my hand a cable box so back to being a noob again!! I got my eurovox pvr today and set it up no problem after having a good read through this forum. now i have a couple of simple questions which i hope someone can help me with..

1. after my scan i got just about everything but im missing a few channels such as cartoon network. I have read the book to do a manual scan and also read around here but i just cant seem to get it done as most of the help in here is for other Eurovox models and things are a little different. I know the freq for the transponder but dont know how to get to the correct screen to enable me to just scan this transponder and not wipe the whole list and do a full scan.

2. got a couple of kids and dont want them flicking through the old tvx when im not about so how do you lock channels??

3. if your on a channel how do you add it to a specific favorite without having to connect to the pc and do a channel edit?

i hope someone with a eurovox pvr can help me out....

A1. Press MENU - INSTALLATION - USER INSTALLATION - Enter PIN (0000) - Press CHANNEL EDIT (GREEN button) - Press ADD (RED Button) - Input Freq & Symbol Rate - OK.

A2. Press MENU - CHANNELS - FAV MANAGER - Enter PIN - Go to the channel you want to lock and press GREEN button, then enter PIN. Before this it might be as well to change the PIN number from 0000 to something else.

A3. Press MENU - CHANNELS - ADD FAV's - press one of the coloured buttons to put the selected channel into that group. Press "FAV" button a second time in this menu to bring up the next 4 groups.

By the way check your pm I've sent you a link for one of my tutorials on the PVR, check it out it shows how to use the PVR to its full.

im not sure if it works with the PVR, but i used to have a piece of software that allowed you to organise the CDF files on the PC. channeledit or something like that.

It used to allow you to arrange, lock, etc.
Not sure where to find it now though.
