The super is definitely an improvement on the old TM9100

If your going to get your old TM out you should have a look at this

Nano
Thanks for the link, the Andromeda image beats the current Edg-Nemesis image hands down IMHO.

Lets face it its not really difficult is it

It wouldn't go past scanning 28.2e on mine. It got so far then locked up

Tried DS 3.6, not bad but there was just something i didn't like about it

Settled on UR13 on mine for now. I may get round to changing it eventually, maybe even this evening

I know its an old thread but i thought i'd do some more reporting on the TM9100

The first TM9100 Super went in a fit of madness along with all the dishes, the motors and every other thing to do with Sat and i had a month or so with just Sky to keep me entertained

Now my setup is made up of a DM7020, a TM9100 standard ( Purchased for £40 ) and a TM600PVR.

On the dish side I now have a Fracarro Penta 85 on a TM SG2300 motor & a Channel Master 60cm dish on 28e working through Global Invacom DISEqC switches allowing all three receiver to access both dishes, and it works very nicely

The Channel master was saved from a small block of flats that i had to decommision the old BSB SMATV system on. Its over 18 years old now but still works better than any 80cm dish i have purchased upto now.

The TM9100 is working flawlessly with EDG Nemesis 4.4 on it and reads my 0963 card with no problems at all and can be left on quite happily without a reboot. Just over a month is the best its done at the momment

The TM600 is a bit lacking purely due to lack of support but hopefully that should get better

The DM7020 needs no explination as its still an excellent receiver which will take some beating

Only job left now is to recable as there are too many joins in the cable now for my liking after having to move the dish higher up to clear next doors tree which was blocking 30w

Its not the "retro squarial",but the Fracarro Penta 85,already mentioned by nano.
This is the original BSB squarial:
