Eurovox EX5000 - Update Or Scrambled Channels - HELP!!!

Hi,

I've got a Eurovox EX5000 pvr with hard drive of ebay of some t*at and all the channels apart from bbc 1 etc are scambled??

Can anyone help???

Hi Scott,

they probably arent a t*at they probably just did not update the firmware before sending it to you like many on ebay do. Did they not provide you with instuctions on how to obtain the information required?

if you take a look in the Private FTA section you will find the download links you require for the EX5000 PVR

any further problems after getting the files post back im sure someone can help, but updated the PVR is very straight forward.

the eurovox pvr come with the FTA software preinstalled this is to comply with legal issues if the seller preinstalls any other sw then sells the box they are breaking the law and open to prosecution as in the recent past some dealers wher raided and prosecuted and boxes impounded because they wher foolish in advertising and selling boxes with preinstalled sw that was not fta.

Thanks guys for the speedy reply, i've updated my eurovox max in the past using the updates of the big maq toolbar which is now chatter box.cc. I didnt no that you weren't allowed to seller boxs with fully updated sw.
