rajkosto, the guy who wrote the fw said:

"web upgrade from 0.92 may fail on st sometimes, fixed in rc3"

I assume it works on st then, its great firmware btw.

this firmware is haxorware, made by rajkosto over at surfboadhacker forum
sbhacker.net, its in the 5101 firmware section
originaly the firmware was developed from the sb5101 diagnostic modem fimware, the orange pumpkin coloured surfboard modem
the latest haxorware firmware now looks totally diferent from the screenshots on the first post, its been totaly re-vamped to look more fresh and professional, curently the version has gone from 092 to 10rc3
haxorware092 looks like the image posted here and haxorware10rc3 has a new web interface

haxorware is for modems with a bcm3349 processor chip
so will work on Webstar-2100r2, Ambit-ntl-250, and SB5101 modems

and its best to load this haxorware to a fresh modem, which means from original virgin firmware, the developer rajkosto reccomends its best not to load it on modems with infinite loaded on them
although ive loaded it to webstar and ambit-250 with infinite on them and not had any problem at all, but if you load it on a fresh modem the led's lights work better than if you load it over infinite firmware

heres some dumps from my modems, which had original virgin firmware on them first, then haxorware loaded, so these are ideal if you have infinite loaded, save you having to flash original firm before haxorware
all credits must go to rajkosto and sbhacker forums team for haxorware, if you post it anywhere post credits too, its a requirement.

Haxorware 10rc3 - for Ambit 250 full 2meg dump (has p option bootloader)

How would you do a full 2mb flash on a sb5101e with a blackcat cable its should be even easier than a max232 flash? thank you.

blackcat can be unreliable with lager files like full 2meg dumps
so the best thing to do is, just flash the p option bootloader then flash the full dump with the max232 cable, its quicker and more reliable than blackcat

if you already have a p option bootloader your fine and can flash with max232

also Softjag can be used to flash a bootloader to a 5101, ive done it recently
it took a long time but worked great, theres 2 versions of softjtag around and the older softjtag worked for me.
