Hey guys Im a new member here and have had my starview 3 for a few weeks now Ive just got two problems:

1, The screen sometimes freezes for a second now and again and sometimes goes black and says signal scrambled. Ive been told to put a booster on it, is this solund advice?

2, I have a DVD recorder with guide plus and cant seem to get it to control the box, I used to have it controlling my NTL box but cant seem to find starview on the cable box list?

I Have also experienced the same problem with the screen freezing and the message appears stating scrambled etc.
I have asked about this before on this forum and just got the one reply which said that it is just something that you have to accept.
I havent heard anything about putting a Booster in line.
Not sure about your DVD recorder though, again like you I would be interested to hear any further comments on this subject.
