Hi i have got a max v downloaded latest software my computer said no available com port. my device manager shows everything is ok any help please would be greatly recieved. ps whats a splitter?

What COM port number are you using, needs to be 1 or 2. For a splitter see post #2 on this thread: ethernet cable

You can use com ports 1 to 4. Port 3 would seem to be the most successful judging from previous posts.
